Technique Tip: Kick Throughs

Kick Throughs
 
Kick Throughs are a great bodyweight exercise that you can perform anywhere.  They are used to work your core as well as increase your conditioning.
 
 
To perform:
Start on “all fours” with your hands under your shoulders and your knees under your hips
Rotate to one side extending your leg straight out, keeping your core tight
Rotate back to the starting position
Repeat to the other side
 
Start off slow and controlled.  When you get more comfortable and confident, slowly begin to increase the speed in order to increase the conditioning demands.
