Fitness should be fun.
It shouldn’t be a chore.
It should be enjoyable.
It should be used to improve your lifestyle.
You shouldn’t be laying on the ground completely exhausted after EVERY workout.
Yes, it is ok to go as hard as you can in a workout. Not every workout. Just every once in a while.
Take a look at these pictures. In these pictures they are doing what we call “Team Burpees.”
(Yes, I know you hate burpees. But so does everyone else. Get over it. They’re a great exercise, as long as they are used properly. And no … I wouldn’t recommend doing as many burpees in 7 minutes as you can. We all know which workout “program” I’m talking about here!!!)
Team burpees is a simple concept. You get in a straight line. You follow the person in front of you. When there is someone across from you, you both do a burpee and high “ten” each other when you jump.
Yes, the number of burpees that you do adds up pretty quickly. Yes, this exercise is hard. But you know what … EVERY SINGLE PERSON in these is pictures is smiling, having fun, and laughing without even realizing they are getting a great workout.
When looking for a gym, remember, the hardest workout doesn’t always make for the best workout.
