Ultimate Sandbag Pullovers
Using a sandbag is very beneficial to your workouts because the weight can shift every repetition. This means that no two reps will ever be the same.
We use Ultimate Sandbag Pullovers as an unconventional way to train your core without doing the same old boring crunches.
To perform:
Lay flat on your back with both feet straight up in the air (over your hips) and both hands holding the outside handles of the Sandbag straight over your chest
Slightly lower your legs towards the floor; making sure your low back stays flat on the floor.
Holding your legs in the same position for all of the reps, “reach” overhead with your hands lowering the sandbag towards the floor
Slowly return the Sandbag to the starting position
Don’t have access to an Ultimate Sandbag… no problem. Feel free to use a dumbbell or kettlebell instead.
