Weekend Warrior Workout – Suspension Trainer Complex
Try out this “fun” upper body suspension trainer complex the next time that you hit the gym!!
Remember…a complex is when you complete a series of exercises all in a row with the same piece of equipment.
Don’t worry. This might seem easy at the beginning, but by the end you will be feeling the burn!
Feel free to get creative and try out your own variations. Don’t forget to throw some leg exercises into the mix!!
Complete 10 reps on each exercise before moving onto the next exercise (without any rest in between.)
Suspension Pushups
Suspension Ab Rollouts
Suspension Tricep Extensions
Suspension Rows
Suspension T’s
Suspension Bicep Curls
Coaches Corner:
After completing all of the exercises, rest and repeat for 2 more rounds
Vary the difficulty by walking your feet forward or back
Start with the handles set at approximately knee height. Depending on the exercise you may need to alter the length of the bands
Practice all of the exercises before combing all of them
If you get tired and your form begins to break down, it is ok to take a break…we won’t tell anybody ;)
