Ingredients:
- ¾ cup walnuts
- ¾ cup almonds
- 8 dates, softened in hot water for 20 minutes and then pitted
- 2 tbsp ground flaxseed
- ½ cup cocoa powder
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- ½ tsp sea salt
- 2 tbsp water
- 4 regular sized candy canes, chopped to a powder
Directions
- Place all ingredients in a food processor until they start to stick together
- Pour the candy cane powder on to a plate
- Grad a small piece of the mixture and roll it in your hands until it forms a ball
- Roll the mixture on the plate with the candy cane powder
- Slide the truffle on to a skewer
