Weekend Warrior Workout – Mobility

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sit all day at work? Have general stiffness?  Want to increase your flexibility?

 

Try out some of these stretches after your next workout!

 

  • Straight Leg Banded Hamstring Stretch

  • Suspension Band Pectoral Stretch

  • Rear Foot Elevated Hip Flexor Stretch

  • Figure 4 Piriformis Stretch

  • Suspension Band Lat Stretch

 

Stretching Tips:

 

  • Perform static stretching after you workout.  Doing so before hand will result in loss of power output from the lengthening of muscles

  • Stretch to mild discomfort

  • Hold each stretch for 90 seconds

  • Make sure to continue to breathe

  • Keep a poker face.  Don’t strain your face or grimace.
